Thanks once again to my wife for her greater devotion to newsprint (I am an all digital news kind of guy) for spotting this article in today’s food section of the Washington Post by Greg Kitsock.
It’s New Beer’s Eve in the area, with a half-dozen local microbreweries set to commence mixing malt and hops in 2011.
Who will be first out of the gate?
John and I had already talked with the former head brewer at Growlers, the co-founder of Lost Rhino, not mentioned in the article. I’ve got his card and it has been on our list to bring some audio gear down his way for a tour of the brew deck. It looks like we’ll be able to add several more such visits possibly that offer easier logistics than some of the other trips we’ve been discussing like getting up to Lakewood, NY to see Southern Tier.
